November 2023

Here’s a preview of November’s Newsletter!

Wow, we are in the homestretch. There are eight weeks left in 2023! If you haven’t already, it’s time to set reminders, intentions, and close out the year strong. Remember, sometimes the season we are in means our reminders are for taking rest, our intention is being present, and closing the year strong looks like allowing space in your calendar to do nothing. Or, it may look like the complete opposite of that. Having a plan whether you are hustling, resting, or somewhere in between is a good idea as long as it is what is right for you.

Here are accounting, tax deadlines, and tax planning reminders for November!

Accounting Reminder

During this busy time of year, be intentional about your time. Finances are often a large part of the year-end. Keep this in your top five priorities especially as we inch closer to the year-end.

Here's a little bit about how I help my clients with their books:

  • My monthly accounting clients have at a minimum 14 meetings with me during the year. They have 12 monthly consultation meetings meant to review their financials, goals, and catch up. A tax return review and tax planning review meeting occur once generally during the spring and fall.

  • My DIY bookkeeping clients have at a minimum six meetings with me. Four one-hour meetings to review their bookkeeping, financials, goals, and catch up plus a tax return review meeting and tax planning review meeting.

I often schedule my clients next meeting with me during our consultations.

I do this practice every day but especially in November . . .

I encourage everyone to take time to reflect on this. For some of us, the cold can be a harder time each year.
